Purlwell
Infant & Nursery School
PLEASE BE AWARE THAT OUR DOCUMENTS CONTINUE TO BE UPDATED ON A REGULAR BASIS.
Our friendly, inclusive school provides pupils with high quality teaching and learning in the most important phase of their education.
Our children are well cared for and happy, and because of this they develop social skills in addition to achieving their full potential in all curriculum areas.
Our school promotes positive relationships with the whole school community to create a happy, secure, caring, positive and fun environment where all children have the right to learn. Every child is treated as an individual and as an important member of the school community. We value and build positive relationships with parents and carers as partners in their child's education.
By nurturing positive working relationships with parents, carers and children we believe that we provide children with the best care, support, education and opportunities.
We are situated in a beautiful grade 2 listed Victorian building built in the 1800s and extended in 1983. There is a lawned garden area to the front of the school and to the exterior a large tarmac playground with a climbing frame, trim trail and small MUGA pitch. The Early Years Foundation stage has a separate extensive outdoor learning area.
We are proud of our school and our children and we look forward to working with you to help your child achieve their full potential.
